Professional to a tee, highly creative, and never without a smile, Mel is a true asset to the Lee Builders team. As Financial Director at Lee Builders, she combines sharp financial oversight with innovative thinking, ensuring the business operates efficiently while continuing to grow and evolve.

Andrew leads Health & Safety at Lee Builders with a clear focus, making sure every person goes home safe at the end of the day. He is responsible for maintaining a safe, compliant, and well-managed working environment across all projects. His approach is built on continuous improvement and embedding strong health and safety standards into everyday site practices.

Emma partners closely with Shiree and the Senior Management team, acting as a strategic link between People & Culture and the wider business. She ensures P&C initiatives are aligned with organisational goals while fostering a positive, values-driven work environment. Emma is committed to supporting employee wellbeing and strengthening the company’s culture to enable both people and the business to thrive.

Staff wellbeing and support are a priority at Lee Builders. Shiree, our dedicated P&C Advisor, is responsible for all aspects of People and Culture. She plays a key role in supporting employee wellbeing and acts as a trusted link between management and our team, ensuring open communication, alignment, and a positive workplace culture.

Heather joined our team in 2022, bringing with her a diverse background across the dairy, engineering, and transport industries. Excited to expand her expertise, she embraced the opportunity to learn all about the Construction Industry and quickly made the role her own. She thrives on a challenge, approaches her work with enthusiasm, and is always ready with a smile (and a good laugh!) — making her a valued member of both our team and our workplace culture.

Jim joined in 2025 as the new Operations Manager, with over 45 years of experience in the construction industry. He is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations and works closely with all of the teams across the business. He enjoys working in a fun and professional environment with the team and brings a wealth of experience to compliment the business.

James holds a degrees in Quantity Surveying and business with 8 years main contractor experience. Working alongside Shae, he is responsible for the pre and post contract commercial management of our projects. Outside of work James enjoys spending time with his young family and has interests in baseball and rugby.

Tavo is one of the longest-standing members of the Lee Builders team, bringing over 25 years of experience in the building industry.  We are grateful to have the experience, professionalism, and positive energy that Tavo brings to Lee Builders.

Fidd brings over 30 years of experience across both the residential and commercial construction sectors. 
His strengths lie in his extensive industry expertise and his natural ability to work with people. Fidd approaches challenges with a solutions-focused mindset, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.
His positive, approachable nature makes him a valued member of both the office team and our on-site crews.

Guido is an integral part of the Lee Builders team and uses his 25+ years of experience in the trade to guide our teams in delivering high quality projects. Over his time at Lee Builders, Guido has played a key role in helping Lee Builders develop our presence in both the Wellington and Canterbury regions, contributing his leadership, technical expertise, and commitment to strong client relationships.

Craig joined Lee Builders in April 2025. As an LBP, he has spent nearly two decades delivering high-quality workmanship across residential construction, insurance reinstatement, and complex restoration projects. His experience spans working as an Insurance Assessor and Project Manager locally in New Zealand and internationally, specialist in fire, water, mould and natural hazard restoration. His career has progressed into Quantity Surveying and complex project scoping, allowing him to bridge the gap between construction delivery, assessment, and financial accuracy.

With more than 25 years of experience in the building industry in residential and commercial construction, Scott has developed a deep and wide knowledge of technical skills required to successfully deliver building and maintenance solutions. He is detail oriented while not losing sight of the bigger picture of the planning and steps required to deliver results.

With a career that began on-site and progressed through the ranks to Trades Manager, Richie combines hands-on construction experience with strategic leadership. Having worked across a variety of projects he brings practical insight and a understanding of all trades to every project.

Lauren is a key player in ensuring the smooth delivery of our South Island projects. With extensive project support experience, she works closely with our Operaions Manager and Project Managers to support the planning, coordination, and workflow of multiple jobs at once.

Currently on Parental Leave from July 2026. 

Kate joined Lee Builders in September 2025, she has a strong focus on keeping projects running smoothly and safely. Working alongside our Trades Manager, Kate supports with coordinating maintenance schedules, managing contractors and ensuring timelines and expectations are meet. Her strong organisation and communication skills are key to her success.

Jude joined Lee Builders in February 2023 after studying Architectural Technology, and has a keen interest in the construction industry. Working alongside our Health & Safety and P&C team, he keeps our staff site-ready and our office organized. With a positive attitude and a set of strong problem-solving skills, Jude is always a pleasure to deal with.

Chloe is an experienced Payroll Administrator with a strong track record of ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. Known for her meticulous attention to detail and process-driven approach, Chloe excels at supporting payroll operations, implementing best practices, and providing clear guidance to both employees and management. She is passionate about creating efficient, reliable payroll processes that support both organisational goals and employee satisfaction.

When you walk into the office at Lee Builders, Amy’s smiling face is the one you’ll see – and the laugh you’ll hear. With over 8 years in the construction industry, her background knowledge of the industry gives her a unique advantage on how to best support our team. Outside of work, you’ll find her going on adventures with her kids, playing netball, or out socialising with friends.
